The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica (GoCD) is currently implementing a US$28 million Digital Transformation Project that supports activities for digitalization of the economy.

The Project aims to ensure that every individual and business in Dominica is empowered with the access to broadband, digital financial services, and skills needed to actively participate in an increasingly digital marketplace and society.

Eligibility Criteria

The Grant funding is for a maximum of up to US$15,000.00 (XCD40,000.00).  Grant fundings will be given based on the category/type of business in addition to the provision of invoices from reputable companies.  Persons will have three weeks to apply.

Grant Terms and Conditions

This agreement begins on the date of signing and ends with the life of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project.
Agreement Period
- The recipient must comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement letter and all attached documents in the Grants Manual.
- Maintain records of transactions related to the Grant Agreement for at least five (5) years.
- Obtain written approval from the CARDTP Project Manager for any changes to supported activities or the completion date of the Grant Agreement.
Conduct of the Project and Eligible Activities
The Grant Recipient must immediately inform CARDTP of any change in its status or circumstances that may affect its ability to comply with this Agreement.
Notification of Change of Status
The Grant Funds may only be used for Eligible Expenditure.
Eligible Expenditure
All Intellectual Property developed as a result of this Grant will remain the property of the Grantee.
Intellectual Property

The application process and award of the CARDTP Grant includes:

Step 1

Client submits application and all necessary supporting documents

Step 2

The eligibility of the business is determined

Step 3

If necessary, a site visit is made to all eligible applicants

Step 4

All applications are then sent to the Grant Evaluation Committee

Step 5

The Applications are evaluated by the Grant Evaluation Committee and Recommendations Made for Award of Grants

Step 6

Recommendations for Award of Grants forwarded to Permanent Secretary, Public Works, Public Utilities and Digital Economy for necessary action

Step 7

After necessary actions, Applicants are notified of outcome

Step 8

Successful Applicants are invited to sign the Grant Agreement

Step 9

The requested funds or approved funds are disbursed to the applicant within three (3) weeks of signing the Grant Agreement
